Back to Business. Back to GlassBuild.

The GlassBuild campaign for 2021 highlighted the strength and determination of the industry to get back to doing business in person.  This years’ event gave everyone the opportunity to meet face-to-face again (after going online in 2020,) with many pleasantly surprised at how well-attended the event was.

Although our team noticed the event was slightly smaller with a reduced number of visitors this year, the quality of the visitors was great.  A high number of influential decision-makers came through our booth.  People were actively looking for and ready to commit to solutions to improve and advance their business.

“It was great to get back out in front of people again, face-to-face,” says Darryl Hubber, Soft Tech’s VP Global Customer Strategy. “There is nothing like being able to build personal relationships and make connections in person.”

The two live demo stations set up in our booth were a hive of activity, with our teams running several demos a day for both existing customers and for newcomers stopping by to learn more about Soft Tech’s solutions.  There was a lot of interest in Soft Tech V6 with automation and scheduling modules for optimized manufacturing, while the latest release of Dealer Module attracted new business in the B2B eCommerce space with a dealer network management solution specifically for window and door manufacturers.

During the event, it was announced that Soft Tech’s parent company Compusoft was set to acquire AccessIT, publishers of the contractERP software for the window and door industry. With contractERP joining Compusoft’s Window and Door Division, this acquisition will position Soft Tech to offer an industry-specific full end-to-end ERP solution.

If you weren’t able to make the event and would like to take a look at the demonstrations we set up for GlassBuild, request a free demo below and one of our team will be in touch to discuss.
