Soft Tech would like to congratulate Stewart McMillan on an internal move to Senior Relationship Manager in the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region, joining the global Commercial Team effective 1 September 2021.
Stewart has accumulated many years of window and door industry experience, working first in the fabricator space, also being involved in Australia Window Performance Testing. Stewart brings with him over ten years of CNC and automation experience, and knowledge in window and door hardware product design. He’s worked with optimizing factory floor layout and implementing efficient processes for factory planning and scheduling.
Having been with Soft Tech for over four years, many of our customers have worked with Stewart during this time. He’s become Soft Tech’s Automation Module expert, a major contributor to the productization of our Scheduling Module, Product Manager of our V6 Cloud, and has worked with our product development teams on sprint prioritization assignments.
In this new role, Stewart will become the primary contact for current customers within the APAC region. He will provide customer advocacy for our APAC customers, charged with setting our customers up for success. “We believe his move into this position will strengthen Soft Tech’s connection with our current customer base,” says Darryl Huber, VP Global Customer Strategy. “He will ensure that our customers are being heard, understood, and have their questions and concerns responded to effectively.”
