Kawneer wanted one integrated platform for Dealers and Manufacturing worldwide. They also wanted to consolidate 6 functionally specific internal manufacturing configurators (Curtainwall, Storefront, Take off, Windows, Doors etc.) and replace with one configurator.

Soft Tech Group’s solution

V6 Manufacturer was enhanced to provide all the functionality in ABP’s internal solutions. V6 dealer was deployed to integrate ABP’s Dealers with ABP’s Manufacturing resulting in significant savings.

Result and benefits to the client

Since 1997, Soft Tech Group V6 has been helping Kawneer produce fast and accurate engineered bills of material and the fabrication reports required for manufacturing of the finished product. With the recent conversion of our Estimating process to V6, we have made significant reductions in queue times by empowering one person with one tool to take a project from inception to manufacturing. We can also build the takeoff from the original estimate, saving the time of starting from scratch. This has allowed us to do more work with the same resources, whilst reducing estimating and manufacturing lead times.
