Soft Tech releases new version of Drawing Module

After a successful launch earlier this year, Soft Tech has just released its latest version of the Drawing Module to customers.

The latest version (v1.0.0.20) showcases enhancements focusing on the goal of the Drawing Module. This is to provide a means to quickly and easily create shop drawings with limited drawings skills and without the use of expensive CAD software.

With this update we have enhanced the dimensioning tool to now include ‘snapping’. The snapping functionality allows the user to easily create a start and end point for the dimension, exactly where they need it, without the need of careful cursor placement. If the cursor is near an end point of a line, the start or end point of the dimension will snap to that point, resulting in millimeter perfect accuracy. Additionally the team have implemented many more enhancements to the layout generation logic, resulting in a consistent professional looking drawing first time, as well as a few other enhancements to provide the best user experience possible.

In our upcoming release, we will be including the ability to add surrounding conditions to your drawings, this will be a set of generic, versatile surrounding conditions which can be placed appropriately to better display how the frame should sit.

A neat built-in-feature of the the Drawing Module is that it automatically updates itself, ensuring the user is always working in the latest, most advance software version available.
