Soft Tech is pleased to congratulate Darryl Huber on his internal promotion from Strategic Account Manager – North America to VP Global Customer Strategy as of February 2020.

Darryl has been a great ambassador in promoting customer success since joining Soft Tech in March 2017. This new role will see Darryl joining the Senior Leadership Team, leading a global team of Soft Tech’s Strategic Account Managers.

Darryl began his career 21 years ago in Building Science and Building Products, estimating and managing multi-million dollar commercial and residential construction projects.  During his career, he’s taken on various roles within the fenestration industry, developing new channels, engineering, testing, product development and sales & marketing.  He is also a former AAMA Installation Master as well as an instructor and was President of the “Northeast Window and Door Association”, since merged with Window and Door Manufactures Association (WDMA).

During his time at Soft Tech, Darryl has been tasked with providing business critical fenestration solutions for Soft Tech’s customers, driving revenue growth and being a change agent for the business.

“My aim is to continue working on developing a culture of customer empathy and customer success in this new role, relying on the years of fenestration knowledge I’ve picked up along the journey,” says Darryl.

In his personal capacity, Darryl enjoys spending time with his family, wife Nancy, and two boys Jack (17) and Ben (13) whom he enjoys watching play soccer.
