Soft Tech announces Kevin Joubert joining the global team as Business Development Manager – Africa.
Kevin joins us with 13 years experience in the glass and fenestration industry, moving in recent years into software management systems to support the industry. In this role, Kevin will be developing and growing new markets for Soft Tech into Africa and the Middle East.
Kevin started his journey in the fenestration industry with a temp role planning material requirements for a fabricator. It wasn’t long after starting (and having dabbled in AUTOCAD) he was asked to complete a set of drawings with a 2-day turnaround. He completed the drawings within a few hours and was subsequently offered a permanent role. From there, Kevin further developed his skills in the industry as a Residential Project Manager, a Contracts Manager for a large-scale facade fabricator, and an Operations Manager for a fenestration software supplier into Africa, before joining Soft Tech.
Kevin’s strengths lie in understanding customer challenges, problem solving and offering customized solutions and support to assist business growth. “I’m looking forward to helping businesses in the African region to maximize productivity, reduce costs and drive business growth” says Kevin.
When he’s not in the office, Kevin enjoys all things music, including making his own music. He is also a keen fisherman and has recently taken up sport shooting.
