The development team have been working at enhancing the Soft Tech Deployment Platform so it is compatible with Soft Tech’s Cloud Solution.
Soft Tech’s Cloud Solution uses different Microsoft products to manage the V6 database, so some new features were developed to allow the current Deployment Platform (designed for desktop application) to work on the cloud.
These enhancements are introduced so customers will have the same automatic update process if they are using V6 on a desktop or on the cloud.
This feature is managed by Soft Tech and allows updates to be run on the cloud out of normal business hours, so as not to impact all the users on the cloud.
In just over 12 months, Deployment Platform has assisted almost 1,000 fabricators with around 5,000 automatic updates.
